Full P&L responsibility for all aspects of marketing and sales for regional home improvement company. Developed the brand positioning and advertising/marketing strategy for the Betterliving outdoor product line. Company was a startup which grew 10 fold in sales and profits and was at run rate of 8 million in sales in 2005. Joined as the number two employee in the company and was an equity partner.

Created and executed lead generation programs through direct response TV infomercials (30 minute and 2 minute formats), direct mail, Internet and outbound telemarketing and internet sales channels.
Designed a network-marketing program, which enabled undecided prospects to connect with satisfied customer through the use of phone and web technologies.

Managed direct-to-consumer sales force (10 salespeople) and built sales training systems for the company

Repositioned $150 million Harriet Carter gift cataloger website and Internet business. Developed new web platform and marketing programs for www.harrietcarter.com The new website Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality generated a 30% increase in online business, a 40% increase in average order size and a 33% increase in prospect conversion. Increased their online business from 1 million in sales prior to launch to over 8 million in year one. Site currently does close to 20 million in revenue. Reported to President of company Bill Garbose.

Developed an electronic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program email for Abacus Direct, a division of DoubleClick Inc a $450 million Internet media, ad serving, technology and database marketing company. Developed email append program and was instrumental in providing strategy and guidance for the development of DoubleClick's national change of email address code named "EmailNCOA". Reported to Kevin Ryan, CEO of DoubleClick.

Led the new product/marketing strategy for the Pure Energy Bar. Launched product through a direct sampling program to 3,000 health food retailers. Database management, direct mail, sampling and relationship marketing contributed to a 5% increase in the division’s 6-month’s profit.

Created Take Shape® continuity auto-ship program through the use of Free Standing Inserts (FSI) and print media.

Point person in due diligence, financial analysis and negotiations for 3 separate corporate acquisitions valued at $9 million. Personally conducted many financial road shows and a key player in the registration and successful completion of I.P.O. raising $4.5 million.
